Author Guidelines
Types of Articles and Their Scope
The Journal of Biological Science publishes new research articles, review papers, and short communications in all areas of biological science. Submissions must exhibit clear results, robust methodology, and a significant contribution to the discipline.
Getting the Manuscript Ready
Manuscripts should be written in clear, short English. There should be a standard structure:
- Title page (including author names and affiliations)
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Main text (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion)
- References
The content should be focused, well-organized, and free from unnecessary detail.
Style and Formatting
Authors need to use the same format throughout the manuscript.
- Pick a font that is easy to read and understand.
- Number the pages in order
- Make sure that the text properly cites and labels tables and figures.
- Use the right scientific units and names
References
References must be correct and full. Authors must make sure that all of the sources they cite in the text are also in the reference list and follow the journal's style for citations.
Submission Process
You should send your manuscripts through the journal's official submission system. Before sending in their work, authors should make sure that all of the required documents are there.
Standards of Ethics
The journal follows the rules for publishing that are already in place. Authors need to make sure that:
- The work is new and has not been looked at by anyone else.
- All sources are correctly credited.
- Studies that involve people or animals have gotten all the necessary approvals.
- There are clear disclosures of any conflicts of interest.
Peer Review
All submissions will be reviewed by peers. The editorial team may ask for changes based on what the reviewers said. The editorial board makes the final choices.
Author Responsibilities
Writers are in charge of making sure their work is correct and honest. All of the authors on the list should have made a big contribution and signed off on the final version of the manuscript.
Access and Copyright
Authors still own the rights to their work. Anyone can read published articles, but they must give credit to the original author if they use or share them.
Get in touch
Authors can get in touch with the editorial office using the contact information on the journal's website if they need more information.
